Car park sensors

Car park sensors

In a lot of car parks there are a lot of accidents due to obstruction of view from poles and walls and often at intersections, cars are in blind spots to other cars.

We have created this oncoming traffic sensor.

If a car stops the lights will turn off showing other cars that they can’t go but when the lights light up it indicates to oncoming traffic that they are free to go.

This will help in real life because it has the potential to prevent several fatal accidents and crashes. This could save so many lives.

At traffic lights there are sensors to register where cars are. These same sensors will be used for this device. It will be placed at car park intersections that have blind areas.

Step 1

We used the buzzing light meter technique and changed the buzzing pin to allow no noise. Afterwards, we made sure that the lights had the same value and were sensitive enough to indicate traffic.
